Our Recycling Programme
Pure Clear Filters is one of only a handful of companies offering a recycling scheme for their filters. In fact, as far as we know we are the ONLY filter company that offers a financial incentive to recycle.
By using our filters in accordance with our replacement guidance, this programme will save our planet from 2400 x 50cl plastic water bottles per person per year (and its healthier too, check out our blog on drinking from plastic water bottles!) However, we need to do more, and that is why we have implemented the PURE CLEAR CONSCIENCE – RECYCLING PROGRAMME.
Here is how it works:
Step 1
Collect all your used Pure Clear Filters and store them safely in a sealable bag.
Step 2
When you have 6 filters collected, simply contact us via our contact page and ask for a collection. Have them ready in a suitable postage bag and we will collect them from your address completely free of charge.
Step 3
Your filters will arrive at our warehouse along with many others. At this point they will be sent to a plant that specialises in filter media and carbon filter recycling.
Step 4
Congratulations to you for your recycling efforts. You have done your part to help our planet, and as a reward we will offer you a 5% discount on your next purchase of filters. Your code will be automatically emailed to you once we receive your used filters.
Each Filter Saves
By taking these very simple steps you and the Pure Clear team really are making a difference, and to that extent you can say when it comes to recycling, you have a PURE CLEAR CONSCIENCE.
Note: – We will not collect any less than 6 filters at a time, as this number is the most cost effective, environmentally friendly and offers the minimal carbon footprint.
