Recycling Commitment
Pure Clear Filters is committed to a recycling program to minimise the impact of plastic and carbon on the environment. Using just one of our filters will reduce the amount of plastic water by 400 x 50cl plastic water bottles. Each of our filters will filter for 200 litres or 2 months, meaning in a 12-month period we save our planet from 2400 plastic water bottles per person. We offer our customers an incentive to send back free of charge their used filters and receive a discount on their next purchase. Pure Clear Filters will then recycle those filters in the most environmentally friendly process possible. We are committed to sustainability. Green Web Hosting
The internet is a menace to our environment, but it needn’t be this way. That’s why we are committed to making sure our corner of the web is as green as can be, through a comprehensive environmental strategy that both reduces our impact and invests in the future.
100% GREEN POWERED HOSTING
Our hosting providers global operations are powered entirely by renewable energy. Their UK data centres use 100% green sourced power as specified by E.ON and as regulated by Ofgem and their US facility uses 100% renewable energy, as certified by Green-e.
ENERGY EFFICIENT DATACENTRE
Their datacentre is built from the ground up to be efficient, with a PuE rating of between 1.2 and 1.3 and an environmental management policy externally assessed to ISO14001 standards.
SENSIBLE GREEN POLICIES
Their environmental policies aim to reduce waste, encourage recycling, and avoid unnecessary travel. Although they have offices where they like to get together, remote working is a part of who they are.
TREE PLANTING & OFFSETTING
In 2020 they committed to becoming a climate positive business. Each month we invest in responsible reforestation efforts and fund climate crisis solutions that have been certified to remove carbon emissions. So far they have planted 65,236 trees and funded efforts that have removed 2,078.74 tons of carbon dioxide.
