Having looked at the products available on the market, having tried them and tested them over and over again, with Mikes design team they looked at each brand and its USP (unique selling point). Being a British company we are bound by trading standards, so when we state the product removes specific toxins and nasties from water, then our products do just that. But to give our customers additional reassurance, we have had our products independently tested by a global leading laboratory to what we consider to be the golden standard in water filtration testing. These test standards are NSF/ANSI 53 and NSF/ANSI P231. Not only does our product remove chemicals, trace pharmaceuticals, heavy metals, microplastics, PFOA’s, bacteria and parasites but it also removes waterborne viruses which is something most filters cannot remove.

All our staff understand the journey the business has been through to get where it is today, each member of staff understands the market, what is available and why our range stands out, each member of staff is highly educated in filtration performance and Mike believes with this education the team can truly offer technical and nonbiased advice to our customers.
Education of our range is important, but so is education on other ranges and brands including their limitations. Mike fully believes that to use an outdoor water filter bottle with no ability to remove chemicals and waterborne viruses is a huge mistake. Viruses come from many sources including dead animals that typically head to water sources when they are dying. Drinking from the bottom of a stream is never recommended because we have no idea if there is a pollutant at the top such as an animal carcass. There are many reasons why you would want as much protection as possible from your water filter bottle, and if the costs are less than the competition why would you not give yourself and your family that protection.
With an advanced understanding of filtration combined with a team of designers (who designed the Armed Forces General Service Respirator known as the GSR) to call upon, Mike set out in reshaping the water filtration industry. The decision to enter the water filtration market was driven and motivated by the price of current brands on the market and their lack of complete filtering functionality, which he could link back to his respiratory filtering experience. Mike couldn’t understand why the brands available were so expensive but only offered minimal filtration levels and prevented beginners and families with little spare income the ability to enjoy water filtration outdoors.
